This is an abbreviated list for those who are more familiar with the Orbiter Sim.

The numbering system corresponds to the detailed checklist so that a cross reference can be
made for those instructions that are not familiar to the reader.  Because of this,  there will be
missing numbers in this abreviated  list but the instructions will still be in the proper order.
3 - Ensure that 'Limited fuel' is NOT activated in the orbiter launch pad

6 - Launch the 'Cape Canaveral' mission from the standard Delta Glider folder

10 - Set your left MFD to 'orbit'

10.5 - Set the Projection on the left MFD to 'ship'.

10.75 - Set the 'DST' to read altitude instead of radius.

11 - Set your right MFD to 'surface'.

17 - Turn off RCS with 'control' + 'num pad /' on keyboard.

21 - Taxi your DG to a runway.

23 - Cycle the HUD to 'surface' mode.

24 - Turn on RCS by pressing 'control + num pad /'

29 - Take Off

33 - After take off, retract gear.

34 - Pull back on stick until the Velocity Vector rises to just over 10 degrees.

35 - Roll the ship approx 45 degrees right.

38 - When the compass reads 90 degrees, center the stick. Make Pitch Ladder vertical.

39 - Pull back on the stick until the Velocity Vector is 60 degrees on the Pitch Ladder. Try to
maintain 60 degree attitude.  Don't let your Directional Indicator rise above 80 degrees.

40 - At 60 km pitch down until your Direction Indicator is at 10 degrees on the Pitch Ladder.

41 - The Velocity Vector will slowly coming down the Pitch Ladder. As it crosses 10 degree,
power the Hover Engines to full using the '0' (zero) key on the keyboard num pad.

43 - Monitor your ApA readout. Anticipate when it will reach 240.0. When it does, reduce hover
thrust to zero. Put your craft into a prograde attitude.

44 - Monitor your ApT. It is important that this number not fall below zero!

45 - Monitor your Ecc. When it will reaches 0 (zero), kill forward thrust.

47 - Ensure all engines are disengaged.

You are now in orbit.

51 - Click on the 'DST' button of your left MFD. We want to deal with radius numbers as
opposed to altitude numbers.

52 - Select ISS as target in left MFD.

54 - change right MFD to Align Planes and set ISS at target.

60 - Reference Align Planes MFD before making alignment burn.  If you are approaching DN
turn ship to orbit normal.  If you are approaching the AN turn ship to orbit anti-normal.

Reference the Lowere Left readout of Align Planes MFD.  It will tell you when to initiate burn.

Perform as many burns as necessary to get RInc as close to zero as possible.

64.5 - At a point halfway between your apoapsis and periapsis turn prograde and fire linear
thrusters (num pad 6 or num pad 9).

The goal is align your periapsis with your target's periapsis.

Do not burn for more than a few seconds at each hafway point.  If periapsis did not align set up
for another burn at the new halfway point.

67.5 - Reference the Orbit MFD.  If your PeR is lower than your taget's PeR turn your ship to
prograde.  If your PeR is highter than your target's PeR, turn your ship to retrograde.

Time a burn to straddle your ApT.  Burn until your PeR matches your targets.

Use linear thrusters to fine tune.

68 - Check the Orbit MFD and ensure your periapsis is still lined up with the target periapsis.  If
not go back to step 64.5 and 67.5 until PeR matches and periapsis matches for both orbits.

69 - set right MFD to 'sync orbit'.  Assign Iss as target.

71 - clik on MOD until 'ref' reads "Tgt Periapsis'

72 - click on LEN and enter '10' as list length.

74 - as you approach periapsis point ship prograde.  Fire main engines.

75 - Monitor the left hand column (Sh-ToR) during burn.  Burn until values in any of the top
three rows are highlighted then kill engines.

76 - Quickly apply linear thrusters (num pad 6 or num pad 9) to reduce DTmin to as close to
zero as possible.

On subsequent orbits prior to orbit (if applicable) make linear thruster burns at periapsis to
reduce DTmin as close to zero as possible.

76.5 - Hit keyboard F4.  Click on 'object info'.
Select 'vessel' in the first pulldown.  Select your target in the second pulldown.

Reference and write down the XPDR and docking port frequencies for your target.

76.75 - Change left MFD to 'com/nav'.  Using side arrows set NAV1 to XPDR frequency.  Set
NAV2 thru NAV4 to as many dock frequencies as they will hold.

76.9 - Change left MFD back to 'orbit'.

77 - When one half orbit away from merge, reference target Ecc in the 'orbit' MFD and write it
down.

77.5 - turn ship retrograde

78/79 - Estimate burn time required to reduce Ecc to zero.  Divide that number by two.  This is
your target burn time.

Monitor your PeT (time to periapsis) Perform a main engine burn at the calculated time.

Monitor your Ecc during burn.  When your Ecc matched your target's Ecc kill main engines.

Fine tune with linear thrusters (num pad 6 and num pad 9)

80 - Use 'h' keyboard key to cycle hud to 'dock' mode.

81 - Use 'cntrl +r' keyboard key to cycle hud frequency to NAV1.

Note:  'num pad /' switches thrusters between rotational and liner (translation).

83 - Rotate your ship until the  directional indicator until points at the 'V(ISS)' velocity vector.
Fire linear thrusters until the velocity value is 0.0X (X is any digit)

84 - change left MFD to 'dock'

85 - Use 'shift' + 'n' on keyborad to cycle frequency to NAV1 on the docking MFD

85.5 - Use linear thruster num pad 6 to accelerate towards the ISS.  Do not accelerate above
4m/s.

86 - When distance to target is less than 2000.0 reduce velocity to 2.5m/s

87 - Use 'ctrl' + 'r' keyboard keys to cycle through available docking corridors.  Select most
favorable corridor.

88 - Use 'shift' + 'n' to match the docking MFD frequency to the HUD docking frequency (NAV2,
NAV3 or NAV4)

89/90 - Use linear and rotational thrusters to place your velocity vector and directional indicator
on the corridor box furthest from the ISS.

92 - Use thrusters to maintain the velocity vector and directional indicator.  When only one
corridor box remains visible, reduce velocity to  1.0m/s.

93 - When the final corridor box disappears from the screen, use linear thrusters to reduce
velocity as close to zero as possible.

94 - Rotate your ship until the directional indicator is inside the corridor box closest to the ISS

Note:  num pad 5 kills rotation.

94.5 - Rotate your ship until the corridor boxes are horizontal with the bar on top.

95 - Use linear thrusters to position the velocity vector inside the corridor box closest to the ISS.

96 - Using linear thrusters move your ship until you are looking directly down the corridor at the
ISS.

97 - Reference the 'docking' MFD.  Rotate your ship until the 'X' turns white and is centered
perfectly on the graph.

Note:  Use the control key in conjunction with the rotation thrusters to fine tune.

98 - Ensure the velocity vector is centered in the furthest corridor box.  Fire forward thrusters
(num pad 6) until velocity of 2.0m/s is achieved.

99 - Referecne the 'docking' MFD.  Use linear thrusters to position the green cross at the
center of the graph.

Note:  Use the control key in conjunction with the rotation thrusters to fire a 1/10th burst to fine
tune.

100 - Continue to adjust the green cross' position.  Keep the green cross inside the shrinking
green circle.  At approx 300 meters distance, reduce velocity to 1.5m/s

101 - Use the 'k' keyboard key to open the nose cone.

102 - At approx 30 meters distance reduce velocity to between .25 and .3 m/s

103 - Continue to wrangle the green cross until capture.

104 - After capture shut down all thrusters.  Turn on RCS control ('control' + 'num pad /')

105 - Pat self on back
