1.  Keep left mfd set to 'transx'  (Shift + j)
2.  set right mfd to 'orbital' (shift + O)
3.  Rotate ship to 'prograde' ( [ )
4.  Reference the transx mfd and note the position of the hypothetical periapsis (green dotted straight
line)
5.  Watching the orbital mfd, wait until your ship has orbited to a point approximately half way between
apoapsis (open dot on orbit) and periapsis (filled dot on orbit).

Note:  it doesn't matter which half-way point you use to perform this rotational burn.

6. As you hit the halfway point, initiate a prograde burn.  Watch your periapsis (filled dot) on the
'orbital' mfd and ensure it is moving towards the noted position of the hypothetical periapsis from the
'transx' mfd.  If your periapsis moves the wrong way, switch quickly to retro thrusters.

Note:  Don't burn for more than 2-3 seconds!  This burn will change your apoapsis and periapsis and
can quickly get out of control.  If a 2-3 second burn doesn't align your periapsis, STOP BURN and set
up for another burn at the next half-way mark.

Continue these controlled burns until the periapsis are aligned on both mfds.
